The Case for A Contested Convention
Trump or Cruz? Soon the dust will settle and we, the Republicans will have our nominee. A contested convention is looking more and more likely. The last time that happened was 1976. That’s before many of us were born. Some would say that is a bad thing, that we need to settle it before the convention. Advice From a Conservative Republican: “Don’t be a Conservative Republican”
Forget conservatives vs. liberals. Forget Left vs. Right. Forget Democrats vs. Republicans. The real fight is a fight between big government and small government. I won’t take up any of your time listing positions of the two remaining viable Republican candidates. That can be easily googled, or looked up on their campaign websites. This is simply an observation of the state of the Republican primary electorate.
